The poster depicts the Enterprise Unified ProcessTM (EUP) lifecycle and summarizes the eight disciplines which the EUP adds to the RUP, describing each with a short paragraph and the amalgamated workflow diagram for it.  Instructions:
  1. Click the image for a 22x34 color JPEG (940 k).
  2. Save the image to disk.
  3. Print the detailed image.  We suggest a color plotter but if you don't have access to one then I guess a normal printer and scotch tape will have to do.

  4. Hang it on your wall.

Order now! Material for this poster was taken from The Enterprise Unified Process: Extending the Rational Unified Process by Scott W. Ambler, John Nalbone, and Michael Vizdos.  Whereas the RUP defines a software development lifecycle, the EUP extends it to cover the entire information technology (IT) lifecycle. The extensions include two new phases, Production and Retirement, and several new disciplines: Operations and Support and the seven enterprise disciplines (Enterprise Business Modeling, Portfolio Management, Enterprise Architecture, Strategic Reuse, People Management, Enterprise Administration, and Software Process Improvement).
